Contact provides much-needed support for vulnerable and homeless young women from Greater Manchester. Founded in 1970, Contact has accommodated over 800 young women. Contact provides what any good parent would do for young women aged 16-19. With our support these young women move on to happier and brighter futures.

We are a self funded volunteer group that feeds and clothes the homeless of Manchester and Salford, Monday to Friday 7-10pm. We give out hot meals and drinks, sleeping bags, toiletries, blankets, clean shoes and clothing.
We're re-launching Manchester's one and only waste food catering social enterprise; Stamping out food waste, creating super low carbon catering for corporate and private customers, and supporting vulnerable people with access to good food. During COVID we've sent over 130,000 meals to individuals and families made vulnerable across Greater Manchester.
We are Manchester's Charity. We support and inspire Mancunians to make our city a fairer, safer, cleaner, friendlier place. Through our Community Grants Programmes and our Manchester's Rising Stars Fund, we put money into the heart of our communities where it will make the most difference. We Love MCR.
